Squadra Technologies AG (‘SQUADRA’) informs you below about the handling of your personal data. The basis for this is the current Swiss data protection law. The provisions also apply to employees domiciled abroad (cross-border commuters).
SQUADRA processes personal data that it receives from its customers (employers) and their employees when they use the SQUADRA online platform or the associated app for mobile devices. This includes surname, first name, home address, telephone numbers, e-mail, working and assignment times, absences, availability (assignment exchange) of employees and specific other fields defined by the employer.
Employees can also submit medical certificates securely via SQUADRA. SQUADRA makes this information available directly to employers in their online overview. Of course, only those authorised by the employer can view medical certificates.
Further personal data is only collected, processed and used with the consent of the user if this information is provided voluntarily, for example as part of an enquiry, search query or to justify, comment on, structure the content of or process an enquiry and for billing purposes, and if this is necessary for answering or processing as part of the use of SQUADRA or for the business relationship.
SQUADRA processes the personal data received from employees or customers exclusively in order to enable the services offered to users (including work scheduling, working time recording, etc.) and the corresponding online overviews.
SQUADRA is permitted to collect, process and utilise the data collected in the course of using the services provided for the purposes of its own consulting, its own advertising and for the improvement of the products and services offered by us. In addition, we may transfer the collected data to the service partners involved in the provision (e.g. hosting partners) if this is necessary, provided that the purpose of the data and its security are maintained. However, the data is only passed on to these service partners for the purpose of contract fulfilment and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.
SQUADRA does not pass on personal data to third parties unless disclosure has been expressly agreed to for the stated purposes or disclosure is expressly permitted or required by law.
However, the prohibition of data disclosure does not apply if SQUADRA is obliged by order of the competent authorities to provide information to third parties, in particular government authorities, in individual cases, insofar as this is necessary for the purposes of criminal prosecution or to enforce SQUADRA's intellectual property rights or due to other applicable statutory provisions. No further consent is required for this.
Personal data on the website and the services offered are transmitted in encrypted form over the Internet SQUADRA secures all services offered through appropriate technical and organisational measures in accordance with recognised standards against loss, access, destruction, manipulation, disclosure or dissemination by unauthorised persons.
The SQUADRA servers for service fulfilment are located in multi-certified and specially secured data centres in Switzerland
SQUADRA also has a regularly reviewed data protection impact assessment (Art. 22 FADP).
The SQUADRA website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics (Google Ltd. Ireland, Dublin). With this tool, data can be collected both anonymously and on a personalised basis. It is generally possible that the collected data is transmitted to Google servers in the USA. SQUADRA has no detailed knowledge of what data is transmitted to the third-party providers, where it is transmitted to and whether it is anonymised. SQUADRA cannot assign this data to specific persons.
This data is also not merged with other data sources. The storage and statistical evaluation of this non-assignable data serves solely to ensure system security and the security of user data (e.g. detection of programme errors or attacks on the system).

Squadra.work and other integrated systems use so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. These do not cause any damage. Squadra Technologies AG can use cookies to make its own website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on the user's end device until they are deleted. This enables SQUADRA to recognise the user's browser on the next visit.
If users do not want this, they can set up their browser so that it informs users about the setting of cookies and gives them the choice to use individual services only in individual cases. However, deactivating cookies can restrict or exclude the functionality of the website.
Within the framework of the statutory data protection provisions, you have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you, its origin and recipients, as well as the purpose of storage and to correction, blocking or deletion of your stored data. However, employees must assert their right to information directly with their employers. As a processor, SQUADRA is not authorised to provide information directly to employees.
If statutory, contractual, commercial or tax retention periods or reasons prevent the deletion, your data will be blocked instead of deleted.
